Clean energy venture proposed for Bourne landfill

Plankton Power may be the first alternative-energy venture to set up shop at the Bourne landfill off MacArthur Boulevard. The Lower Cape firm plans to capture carbon dioxide from flare burn-off emissions at the disposal facility, bottle it and take it to a lab at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to grow algae and create a bio-fuel.
